WHY WOODSTOCK?
Like all great camps, we have a beautiful facility, enriched by exceptional counselors, where all the pines and people are real. Our games, activities, and adventures are wireless. What sets us apart is our culture.

We connect our campers to themselves and to each other by living our “CHoRR” values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Friendships happen here. So, if Woodstock sounds right for your child, all you need to do is register. We will take it from there.

We have a registered nurse on duty to manage the medical care and safety of our campers. Camp Woodstock meets the strict requirements for accreditation with the American Camping Association and is licensed by the State of Connecticut.

All of our Staff is certified in CPR. Our Waterfront Director is a certified Water Safety Instructor and our camp counselors are great role models for your child.

Camp Woodstock was established in 1922 and is comprised of 120 acres on a pristine lake. In the past 90 years, hundreds of children have learned to swim in our lake and made new friends and lifelong memories in our overnight camp program. This year, with the addition of a brand-new facility, we would like to offer your child the opportunity to participate in our program as a day camper. The day campers’ program will start at 9am with games played with their new friends, followed by the activities they chose individually on their first day at camp. During their selected activities, your child will be joined by our overnight campers who hail from fourteen different states and over six different countries. Imagine the unique experience your child will have interacting with children from Spain, France or Russia in our bustling camp setting!

Interested in a longer visit than just during the day? Camp Woodstock also offers one- and two-week sessions for boys and girls ages 7-14 and a four-week Leader-in-Training program for boys and girls 15 years of age! Questions? Contact us
any time.
